Busy day

Yesterday was jammed packed and it continues this morning. We all need to leave for our appointment at the passport agency by a little after 7. We need to be there at 8:30 and then we’ll rush the boys back to school.

Yesterday we were at the 5K run by 8am and the boys and Mom started the race at 9 sharp. I dropped them off and headed home to clean the house and run a few errands as there was no way to watch them. After picking up the kids passport photos I dropped off a guitar at Grandma’s who wanted to borrow one for Tasha’s new boyfriend to play. Mom and the boys all arrived home a little after 10am and I was just finishing up vacuuming the rugs and floors. We left for the game around 1:15 and were in our seats 15 minutes before the game started. They had a special ceremony for former player Shannon Sharpe. This was fun to see and after that they had 4 paratroopers jump from a plane and land in the middle of the stadium. Pre game was capped off with the national anthem and then 4 Air Force jets screaming right over our heads. The boys loved this! Pre game ceremonies like these are always the best part. The game was a good one but we left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. We wanted to beat the traffic as we had a bbq down at Uncle T and Aunt B’s withGrandma, Aunt Shelly, Tasha, Aviak and her new boyfriend. I was stuck on the phone so the misses and the boys went down before me. When I arrived everyone was eating so I grabbed a plate and joined in. Soon it was after 7pm and I needed to get the boys home and ready for bed.

We all have a couple of big weeks as two week from today we’re off to Italy. We’re hoping for good weather but to be truthful, are just happy to go no matter what the weather. I need to wake the misses so she gets a head start on the boys. No politics today, I thought I’d get a comment or two from yesterday’s post but everyone must be used to me by now. I’ll leave it up to each of you to decide what’s really going on. As I said before (and this is one of the greatest issues we face) no matter what facts are out there, no one really changes their minds, especially on the republican or democratic side. I guess that’s why they say the independents decide the elections. Contrary to what you might think, that’s what the misses and I are, independents. We’re not registered with either party so looks like the two of us will be picking the next President! Chew on that for the day! Your future is in our hands.

Alright, take care, stay healthy and safe and have a great day, God Bless
