Thankfully there’s no basketball today, practice or games. Tomorrow though at 6:30 am, Jag has practice. This is his last week of the season with three more games. He had a good night with some strong shots that were nothing but net, but man does he get hacked and mugged on almost every play. Sometimes it’s so obvious that everyone in the stands is screaming things like, “they’re fouling him” or “they’re holding him” or worse. I told him sometimes you get a call and sometimes the refs miss it. I know often he’s frustrated as he’s getting grabbed, pulled, pushed and like I said, mugged for two hours straight. That’s what happens when you’re a big man and a scorer.
Today we’re going to take it easy. Lori’s head was really bad yesterday at the end of the games. Not sure if we’ll go to the gym today or not. I think I’m allergic to peanut butter. Well, not 100% allergic, but I eat a lot, too much as it’s my go to food after workouts and for lunch on apples. I need to find a substitute. Aren’t you glad I shared that with you today? Ha.
It’s almost February, hard to believe. Time just flies by. Mojo seems to be doing a lot better. Lori took him on a short walk yesterday up the mountain and he seems fine this morning. Guess his anti-inflammatory’s are working. It’s about time for another coffee and then it’s off to the gym. Hope you all have a great day and are doing well.
Before I go, it’s now time for your daily public service announcement. The flu season is not over, in fact some say it peaks in February. Make sure to wash your hands whenever you think about it, and don’t touch you face at all if you can help it. If someone coughs or sneezes near you, turn your head and hold your breath, this can help you avoid getting sick. We also take vitamin C every day. There’s about 45 -60 days left before it settles down, be safe! God Bless.
