This morning I fly off to Houston and am back tomorrow evening. It’s a quick but important trip. Luckily I have first class both ways which makes it a little bit easier.
Yesterday the boys headed back to the pool in the afternoon while I took a break to head to the gym. It’s a whole different crowd in the middle of the afternoon than at 5 in the morning. The oldest worked on his dives and flip turns with his coach and both boys brought home numerous ribbons from Saturday’s meet, along with a sunburn. The misses shoulders got a lot of sun as well.
We still have fires burning out of control in the state with zero containment. Hope they get it under control.
Lot’s going on behind the scenes but I won’t bother you with it, let’s just say we hope the power of prayer works. Time for me to run as I haven’t packed yet and have a few last minute emails to send.
