Not much snow up here, 2, 2 and a half inches at most. Looks all winter white outside.
Yesterday after some work, we ran up to the gourmet kitchen store in Edwards to return a couple of cake pans I bought the day before. While there, with Lori, she found some fun holiday things for the house. After that, we stopped to see Ty and then headed home.
On the way home we stopped at our little pocket park as the Vail Daily newspaper came down to take some pictures as a few of us residents organized a ribbon cutting of our new neighborhood signs that say, Keep Your Dogs on a Leash, and Elk Crossing. People, who don’t live up here, come up and let their dogs run off leash and they chase the deer and elk which stress them out. Our elk herd has gone from over 250 to around 100, just in the last few years with all the so-called progress in Eagle. I’ve been trying to get security gates put in down the hill, which is an uphill battle. We decided yesterday to put up cameras on poles on the streets to deter criminal activity. We don’t have any right now, (knock on wood), but want to get ahead of things.
Today the CU game is on at 3. Not sure if we’re going to the gym as Lori’s neck is sore and the roads probably are not in great shape. It’s sort of raining really light outside right now. Could be light snow, hard to tell.
That’s it, have a great day and get ready for Yellowstone tomorrow! I know Robi and Robert will be watching. God Bless.
