Foggy

Looks like a nice Spring day outside with a fine mist in the air and low hanging fog covering the tops of the hills outside the windows. I just put the trash out and had a cup of coffee. Ty and Sonny made it home sometime between 11 and midnight. They all had fun at the parade. Glad the all got to go as they’ll remember it for the rest of their lives.

Lori and I made it to Denver around 8:45 and picked up some wine from the warehouse. I then dropped her at Phoebe’s to get her hair done and ran up to the bank to drop off some of the wine. Next up was the cigar shop, then the mall and then it was back to pick up Lori. Phoebe cut my hair after she finished with Lori. It was now about 12:30 and we headed to our favorite butcher, Edwards Meats. I picked up some filets, ribs, pork and beef, some baked beans and potato salad and a couple chicken breasts. The place was of course packed. Then it was up the hill we went.

We made it home around 3:15 and 30 minutes later I headed out to meet the guys for a cigar, as of course, it was Thursday. James plays in Sweden tonight and Sunday and then comes home Monday. Lori is making a couple pans of enchilada’s for then for when they get home.

Today we’re headed to the gym and then going up to look at some new aspen trees for the backyard at the nursery. The we’ll be hanging around the house. Tomorrow I think we’re going to Basalt which is on the way to Aspen. Our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Korita, is there. Not sure if we’ll go into Aspen as we’re there next weekend for Greg Erwin’s Celebration of Life. You might remember he passed away early March. Plus the town will be packed with tourists for Aspen Food and Wine. Jagger comes up tonight. Can’t wait to see him.

That’s it, embrace the day and life! Be thankful as it’s not a given. Nobody owes you anything. Take charge and live large! God Bless.
