It’s over

Yesterday was a great day. Dixie said she had the best Christmas ever and we all had a fun. It was a no drama day filled with gifts, good food and fun. Last night Jag headed to Boulder to hang with friends. He’ll be back up tomorrow. Ty had a few friends come over last night. I fell asleep early and couldn’t stay up for what was a thrilling victory in overtime by the Nuggets. We won’t talk about the Broncos, ha.

This week we have a lot to do, both for work and around here. I ate pretty much everything the past few days so time to get back to my normal routine. The weather is good, no new snow and it warmed up a bunch yesterday. More warm weather tomorrow when I’m in Denver to have the oil changed on Lori’s car. After that I have a few things to return to Nordstrom.

Speaking of returns, we have a few things to exchange this week but did pretty well. Ty got a turntable and speakers from Santa and had it set up and was spinning vinyl before breakfast. The hit of the day was a Nike Tech warmup jacket and pants he received from Uncle Tom. I haven’t checked this morning but wouldn’t be surprised if he slept in them! Aunti Kristin sent each boy $500 which was huge! They were super grateful.

Today Tom’s pecan pie for his birthday should arrive. It’s late due to the weather. I have one arriving tomorrow but am now on the program so I’ll probably give it away or freeze it. Lori and I are going to Marty and Melanie’s this afternoon for turkey dinner. We both are not crazy about turkey but will suck it up.

That’s about it, time to get moving. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Time to start preparing for 2023! Enjoy and God Bless.
