Happy Halloween

Remember Halloween when you were a kid? I sure do. Probably more than any other holiday. I can remember most of the costumes mom dressed us up in and I think all were homemade. No store bought stuff when we were kids. Mom and the neighborhood would go all out. The Rossi’s, our neighbors, always had a hot dog cart out with hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for the parents. Mrs. Rossi would make these cinnamon candied apples which were the big hit every year. Also back then, most all candy bars were full size. My brother is one of the few who still hands out the big ones. Then there’s the kids years, the headless Jagger and Ty as a Power Ranger with Grandma, Jag as a pirate, and even my Mom as a witch. By the way, Lori dressed up one year as the cutest pirate wench herself. Fast forward to today and not sure what the boys are dressing up as or even doing. Lori and I will be at the Bocelli concert in Denver. Been thinking of maybe just making the drive home tonight. We have a room but we’ll see as she has a 7am Zoom call and I have one at 9.

Yesterday we went grocery shopping and then hung out. Good Nuggets game last night and a couple good football games. Lori went to visit her mom after dinner. She’s pretty needy these days and forgets that we have come to visit her and half the time forgets where she is. She sometimes thinks she’s in a hotel.

Ty had a rock hit his windshield yesterday, ugh. Not sure if we need to replace the whole thing or not, probably. Other than that, just the usual around here. I’ve been kicking some stomach thing for a few days. Think I had bad chicken soup or something. Finally a lot better today. November 1st tomorrow! 61 days until 2022, wow. Here’s a couple great pics, Lori made the outfits on the right! God Bless.
