Here we go

I’m actually writing this the night of the 15th as I need to get up at 4am to drive to Denver for my flight to Europe. It was a mad rush getting ready and the kids had lots going on as did Lori. On top of that, a girl from the boys school, with her boyfriend and sister, along with the girl’s dad, were driving their soft top jeep and somehow rolled it and the dad died! This all happened about 4pm, right after school. Rumor has it alcohol was involved but we don’t know for sure. We hope not.

I’m gone until a week from Thursday which is the day of Jagger’s Prom. He still hasn’t asked a girl as far as we know, but what do we know, we’re only his parents. He sure looks sharp all dressed up though. I found some athletic tape, which is the kind you see on pro athletes on tv, and have been putting in on Lori’s shoulder. It seems to be working and getting rid of her headache, we’re holding our breath.

Both boys have about 8 days of school left and I sure hope they get along with each other and help Mom out around the house while I’m gone. It’s hard for her as she’s gone all day. At least I can do a little housework while working from home to try to stay ahead of them.

I’ll land in Marseille France about 2am Colorado time today, the 16th. It will be 10am in the morning there. I’ll post from the trip but if Lori has time, she’ll try from home too as I won’t know much of what’s going on here. Hope everyone is doing well, if you’re really good, and I can find some cheap little trinkets, I might just bring you all something! But don’t count on it, as that way it’ll be a surprise! God Bless.
