Today it starts. Well actually it started last night when Lori began upstairs while the boys and I were at baseball. Jag had a good game, boy can he hit the ball. If he’s not the best hitter on the team, he’s one of the top three. He sees the ball like the other two really good hitters while most kids are still swinging at pitches in the dirt or near their heads. Look out as he gets older. He pitched again last night and struggled a bit. He sometimes thinks too much out there as the coach preaches to remember the four steps. I could see him actually talking through the four steps to himself out there, so I told him to stop thinking about it and just throw the ball. Then he did much better. It was the last inning and all of a sudden the lights went out! We all got out cell phones to turn on flashlights so the coach could call the city to have them turned back on but the umpires just left? Our coach gave them hell saying why were they so quick to leave? After all they get paid. They just walked away and before the made it to the parking lot, the lights were back on, but of course, they didn’t come back. I think we’ll finish the game later in the year.
Now back to the purge, we’re having coffee now and then I’ll start in our room with my dresser. What I haven’t worn in 6 months is gone. If I really like it, like old concert shirts from when I was a kid, I’ll put them in a bag and then downstairs. After that, the closet. Then the boys rooms, then the guest room. If we can somehow get through the upstairs today, it’ll be a miracle.
Hope everyone is well, time to run, God Bless.
