Ok, here’s a comment from yesterday. Throw in a conversation or two with a couple of you that said how much you enjoyed and agreed with the other days post, and I feel a little better.

Just frustrated !
Now I don’t feel better because of the situation our country is in but rather for the fact that at least some of you also see the reality of our situation. I guess as I said to one of you on the phone last night, we just need to keep a positive attitude! It’s often difficult to do when daily it seems our freedoms are being whittled away. Check this out.
President Gives Himself Control Of ALL Communication Systems In America
US President Barack Obama quietly signed his name to an Executive Order on Friday, allowing the White House to control all private communications in the country in the name of national security.
The president has authorized the DHS,
“the authority to seize private facilities when necessary, effectively shutting down or limiting civilian communications.â€Â

Now if you want to read more, click on the link that says “read more”. In short, our Pres signed yet another exec order that gives him the right to shut down all independent media, every newspaper, radio, tv and even the internet, Â whenever “he” deems it is in the best interest of the country, wow. The scary thing is this is just the latest in a long list of exec orders giving him the power to seize everything from all farms, ranches and food producing facilities to gas stations, banks, medical facilities and just about everything you can think of. Never in the history of the country has any administration gone to this length. Don’t you have to at least ask yourself, why? I’ll leave that up to you but it’s not because he’s playing Monopoly with his kids, even though it seems that way. They’ve already given themselves the power to freeze all bank accounts when they want and even come into your home and take food from you for redistribution, unbelievable but true. One can only hope that the government won’t over reach or abuse their power as that’s never happened, right?
Ok, onto the day, we had quite the thunderstorms here last night. Mojo isn’t scared of much but he doesn’t like the thunder, most dogs don’t. Hopefully if it rains this afternoon, Aunt Ali can come up and let him in his bed. We’ll be leaving close to noon today and hopefully be up in Aspen by 3 at the latest. I have lots to do this morning, so much that I had to make a list last night.
The misses made some white chocolate Fleur de Lis last night to take to the Bastille Day Party this Sunday. For those of you that don’t know, it celebrates the day the French people stormed the Bastille. You can Google it if you want more info.
The youngest had Jack, his friend, spend the night, after they played most of the day together. Mom made sure it was lights out by 10pm. The oldest joined in and they all had a lemonade stand as it was 100 degrees yesterday.
It’ll be good to get out of the city and up to the mountains where it’ll be 20 degrees cooler. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like here in August which is normally our hottest month.
That’s about it, time to run, my freakin back is real sore but I’m off to the gym anyhow before I go to the warehouse to get another 30 cases of wine. Lots to do, take care, God Bless and as I said, we all need to keep a positive attitude!
