We all woke up at 6am to about an inch of snow. It’s in the high 20’s outside, lucky I turned the heat on last night for the first time this year.
Well it didn’t take long for the endless stream of political ads full of lies and more lies to start up again. At a rally here yesterday, the big O called Mitt a lier! Unbelievable, nice real nice, that’s the character we want in a President. I am so so sick of being told every republican is against abortion, even in cases of incest and rape (not true) and to be fair, that every democrat is 100% responsible for the economic mess (again not 100% true). It’s so the American people can’t make an intelligent decision because they can never get the truth! No one wants to tell us the truth no matter what, medicare and social security needs to be changed. Both sides are afraid of losing voters if they tell the truth. It’s just all whacked up! She of course is referring to the game changer of a debate the night before last. I am proud of Mitt for taking the high road while the dems, who are even more desperate, are coming out with even worse lies. It seems that’s all they have. 4 years ago the big O said when you don’t have a record to run on, you attack your opponent. Well there’s one promise he followed through on.
Sorry for the rant but tis the season. It’s not my fault as I’m bombarded by ads 24/7. You can’t get away from it.
Last night the misses went to book club. She made it home around 9:30 pm and the boys went to sleep around 9. This morning I have a sales meeting at the distributor from 9:30 to 9:45. That’s my time slot, 15 minutes to grab 23 sales reps attention and get them on my side. Then I’ll be back to work. I’m waiting for my new health insurance card to arrive so I can go to the doctor and get this swollen bump on my foot lanced. Thanks O care!
We just turned on the fire and the oldest is sitting next to it trying to warm up. He needs to take off for school in 15 minutes for inter-murals. The misses goes back to Vail Monday for another appointment. There’s a breakout of meningitis on the east coast from  bad drugs used for back injections like she had. It doesn’t seem to have affected anyone out here but we’re keeping a close eye on the misses, super.
So, lots going on here, it’ll be good to have the weekend off, even if it is cold. The misses made some great chicken soup yesterday which will be welcome today for lunch. Time to run as I need to run the oldest to school.
