First, here’s a comment from Annette, thanks,
Matt will be wearing his Steelers shirt and hat and brushing his teeth with his Steelers toothbrush. It’s to warm for his Steelers snuggie yet. My Grandma lived with us also. she made us eat hot cereal every morning before school and I swore I would never eat it again. In the winter I have hot oatmeal every day now and I love it. I’m sure my Grandma is looking down and laughing at me.
Lucky Matt isn’t here, we don’t need any Steeler fans around here mucking up our party! Yesterday was spent cleaning the house as Chip arrived from Seattle last night for the big game around 6pm at DIA. Â He said there were tons of Steeler fans at the airport. As a good Bronco fan he had to talk some smack to them all. More on the game later, back to the day,
The misses found a few signs of moths in the pantry and this was enough to set her off and tear the whole thing apart. Now everything in our pantry is in mason jars rather than boxes or plastic bags. It looks kind of cool, kind of old school like I imagine my grandma’s pantry did, if she had one! After this we had to tackle the rest of the house working up to the crescendo which was the guest room. We finally finished around 4pm. The boys were here and there, one at his friends and the other at his friends. Â Thanks Mom for the few extra jars she provided in our quest to get the pantry cleaned up!
We arrived home around 7 and had some pork green chili the misses made. We’re giving some to Grandma for dinner (don’t worry, we didn’t eat it all!). What else, oh yea, Sacramento State beat the University of Colorado yesterday in football! And North Dakota State beat Colorado State University! Looks like neither of our college teams are very good. We really don’t care much about these two teams. Air Force almost beat Michigan and I don’t know if Wisconsin pulled it out or not. These two teams we do care about!
Today we’ll leave about 4 or so for the 6:30pm kick off. The oldest has decided he wants Jimmy’s Wings (chicken wings) so we’ll need to order those early as I’m sure they’ll be busy. I know we’re meeting some people Chip knows as well as a bunch I know. The misses asked what I’m doing for the tailgate and I said, “I don’t know”. Â I’ll need to figure it all out this morning.
Alright, everyone, and I mean everyone, needs to cheer for the Bronco’s this year. I don”t want any Steeler vibes swirling around out there.
Take care, God Bless,
