Dinner

Quick trip to Denver yesterday. It was 74 degrees when we left town around 11am. After a quick stop at Edwards Meats, we were home by 1:30. Later in the afternoon, a bunch of us guys got together for cigars.

Ty is already out the door as he works at 7. Lori and I will head to the gym after a bit. We’re having steaks tonight along with baked beans, and probably Lori’s famous potatoes from a recipe from Vincent’s in Phoenix. We call it potato crack. She might make her Basque cheesecake too. Whatever she does, it’ll be good.

It’s Dr. B’s birthday today! Lori is trying to figure out what to take to him in the OR.

More shootings in Denver. Shouldn’t surprise anyone. Someone needs to sue the administration for letting all these people, who a high percentage of commit crimes, into the Country. You have to attack the only thing they understand, their money. Sadly we’re now not just locking our doors at night but also setting our alarm when we sleep. Everyone I know is frustrated with either the economy, the crime, the high taxes, the loss of rights, increased regulations limiting our freedoms, and more. I could go on for a while. It’s unfathomable what this administration has done to our Country in such a short amount of time. I can’t believe anyone would vote for any democrat at this point. And oh, one dem in Northglenn, down in Denver, showed up drunk at the public meeting last night. Of course she’s now playing the victim. You can’t make this shit up.

At cigar night, we talk a lot about all the crap going on and are all saddened by the current state of things. We’re all old enough to remember the good old days. It’s getting to a tipping point we all agree. Not sure what’s going to happen, but everyone from teachers to construction workers, to business owners and even legal immigrants, are fed up. God save us.

Trash day so time to get moving, 6:45 now. Seriously looking at real estate in Arizona and/or Montana. Trying to figure out how and where to retire. Have a great day, stay safe and God Bless.
