Yesterday we pulled into Aspen around 1. Jeff and Tina showed up about 30 or 45 minutes after us. We hung out for the afternoon until an early dinner at Kenechi, a great sushi restaurant. We had a blast and were back around 8 and hung out the rest of the night. Lori and Tina think someone had a cat as they both have allergies in the place. We took the room downstairs and Jeff and Tina took upstairs in our three-story townhome right on the slopes. Good choice by us as there is no A/C and heat rises. Tina, Lori and I are up now at 6:30am as Tina didn’t sleep a wink as it was too hot, ugh!
The girls went to bead around 10 and Jeff and I stayed up and smoked a cigar on the deck until a bit after 11pm.
Our event today starts at 4. We’ll go into town this morning and hang out until we go this afternoon. Jagger drove up last night as he just wanted to come home for the weekend so he’s driving Ty to work this morning for me. We did let Ty drive the truck yesterday and all went well. Ty was lobbying to drive again today but I had Jag take him. I’m sure Ty enjoyed the freedom of driving by himself again.
