5:37am, drinking coffee, leaving in 35 minutes. I was down and up in pretty good time yesterday. I ran my errands then met Ty and then went to the bank around 12:15 where we met up with Jagger who drove down from Boulder. I then headed up the hill while Jag took Ty to Tommy’s to get his car and say hi to Uncle Tom.
This morning I need to be at the windshield place by 9 at the latest. I should get there a bit after 8:30. Denver is not what it used to be. It’s much more disheveled if that makes sense. Yet the same politicians are touting their great successes over the past four years. We don’t live there anymore so maybe it’s more obvious to us, but we just do see it headed in the right direction. Poverty, crime and homelessness seem abundant. So glad we got out.
We’re running out of time to stock up on certain things. I feel like a broken record but even Lori now sees it. The govt. has been studying how to create a United States central bank digital currency (CBDC). This way they can control the people even more. A friend from Aspen called saying her son wants all his money ($38K) out of the bank and should she give it to him. She also said everyone in Aspen is buying tons of food and installing generators. She wants to get $25 to $50K in cash and put in her closet too. This woman (Rollie) is not one to subscribe to this but even she now sees the time has come. We’re having lunch today.
Natural gas will be up 67% this year they say! That is unbelievable. This means our heating bill will go from $600/$700 to well over $1K. Not sure how people will afford this that are on a fixed income. I’m trying to figure out a way to insulate things more around here. Oh well, that’s it, time to go. Be well, stay safe and for God’s sake, think for yourself. No one is going to be there to help you when you need it, except of course us, ha. We’ll always take care of family and do what we can to help so don’t be afraid to call if you need it. After all, family is what it comes down to in the end. God Bless.
