Yea! Springtime in the Rockies! Of course we’re getting a little snow tonight but not much. Hopefully the big storms are well gone until the Fall.
Yesterday was a whirlwind. Lori went to Denver to get her hair done while I took the boys to the range to go shooting. My Army buddy who is still an active Group 19 guy (Green Beret) showed up to train them right. We’re going back today to continue their education on pistols and then move to rifles. It’s really important to have a professional teaching them all the details in the beginning.
After we all made it home, Dixie’s caretaker called as her blood pressure was abnormally low and she looked really pale. We told them to call 911 and we all headed down to her place. After meeting the paramedics there and checking Dixie out, Lori made the call to have them take her to the hospital as a precaution. Jag then went to the gym, Ty to Edwards and Lori to the hospital. She had me stay home until she knew what was going on. Turns out after labs and an EKG and other tests, she had a urinary tract infection which causes all the issues she had. So by 6:30, Dixie was back at her place safe and sound.
Today we’re off to the gym and then back to the range as I said, around noon. We were doing sushi and a movie last night before the Dixie debacle. Not sure about tonight. Serena comes next week for a visit! Lori can’t wait and of course, we’re excited too. Weather looks like it’ll be in the 70’s, good timing. That’s almost warm enough for Annette! God Bless.
