Are you freakin kidding me!

I was there, I saw it, but I still don’t believe it! I’m talking about the Denver Broncos Chicago Bears football game. To make a long story short, we were down 10 to 0 with about 2 minutes to go. Somehow we scored 10 points, went to overtime, had a few inexplicable events go our way and then won the game. My distributor and his wife from Chicago flew in and went to the game with us. He would have bet his life that the game was over with 2 minutes to go. In fact he was apologizing to me for beating us telling me his team needed the win more than us. Then all of a sudden, as if it was preordained, one thing happened after another until 75,000 plus fans went home screaming for joy and the Chicago fans in disbelief. For the last two minutes of regulation and 8 minutes of overtime, the whole stadium was standing, jumping up and down and screaming as we all knew we were going to win. I actually felt bad for my friend and his wife who also knew long before we scored the tying field goal in regulation, that we were going to win. He said to me, “you’re going to win this game”. In true Tebow (our humble quarterback that gives everyone else credit and thanks God in every sentence and who in the words of my wife, “is adorable”), fashion I said, “the game’s not over, you can still win”, even though I too knew somehow we would comeback and once again win. By the time I made it to my car I had text messages from New York to Seattle and then the phone started ringing. Now I don’t know how much longer this will go on, we play New England next week, but for now, we seem unstoppable. No matter what happens, it’s been a good year and a good story.

This is the kids last week of school and then they’re out until around January 4th or 5th. Saturday is the oldest ones birthday, then the next day is the Bronco New England Patriot game along with a party down the street that night where Santa Claus shows up and then the next day is Uncle T’s birthday. After all that, it’ll be December 20th and then Christmas before you know it. I have lots and lots of work this week starting with a good 4 hours on the phone this morning.

The oldest one was at his best friend Jennifer’s birthday party for most of the day. The party was from 2:30 until 4:30 but he went at 12:15 and was home around 6:15. These two are quite the pair. Meanwhile the youngest played hard all day long with his friend in our house and his with Jack the babysitter keeping an eye on him.

Time to run, sometime soon I need to start Christmas shopping but of course you need money to do this! That’s the only hold up, if we had the money, we’d be shopping, funny how that works. Have a good day, a good week, and we’ll see you tomorrow, God Bless you all and God Bless the Denver Broncos!
