Global Entry

This morning the kids have their interviews at 10am at the airport and Lori has her pre-op appointment for her eye surgery coming up this Friday. We need to take two cars though as Lori needs to rush back up to work while I need to meet up with Aleks to drop some fresh samples. He had a really good day yesterday once I finally hooked him up with our sales rep.

Ty was gone on the mountain all day long for a birthday party. Jag has two basketball games tonight and I’m chasing about $500,000 worth of purchase orders that I need to get in before the end of the month.

There’s a fire close to the ranch. I’ve been monitoring it and communicating with the Sheriff’s Department in Walden and hoping it skirts us to the northeast. It started two days ago and was 200 acres but now has blown up to 3800 acres. I’ll be heading up there on Saturday to survey the damage unless I get a call from the Sheriff before. They have my cell and are pretty good and staying in touch but really don’t know a whole lot more than I do as fires have their own mind and can change direction quickly. I have a couple of hunting buddy’s standing by in case it gets too close and then we’ll head up with chainsaws to cut a firebreak a half a mile or so away as insurance if we think it’s heading our way. Thankfully this is on the south side of the highway and nowhere near the “rocks” for those of you who know what I’m talking about. It was really hot in Denver, like miserable hot. Up here it’s just about perfect being in the mid 80’s. I guess it’s going to be a bit cooler in Denver today which will be welcome.

I’d better get moving as I have a lot to do before we take off in about an hour. It takes about 45 minutes to get the kids and Lori moving alone! Hope you all are well, take care and GB.
