A fun town

Sarasota is really a neat little town. It’s a lot like Scottsdale, maybe a little more upscale, with water. There are different keys or inlets with nice homes and little town centers in each one. Probably the most famous place is the Circle, which is a lot of shops, restaurants and people, all in this one area close to the beach. We spent a few hours there and then went over to Siesta Key which has the distinction of being the #1 beach in the World. We think Hawaii is better but here the sand was so fine it was like powdered sugar.

After running around all day we ended up at Capital Grill for dinner where I met the managing partner and he is now selling our wine. This morning, hopefully within an hour, we’ll be on the road to Boca Raton. I think we’re meeting up with one of Lori’s half sisters tonight that she’s never met. That should be an experience. Time to run as Lori just brought in coffee. I’m  looking out our window and here comes the sun. We’re wearing shorts as it’s like 70 which feels like 90 to us! That’s it, God Bless, over and out.
