So the good news is we received an offer on our house, countered back and they accepted. In short, this should mean our house is sold but what it really means is it’s under contract. Now comes an inspection, the appraisal and a host of other technical steps that can make the deal fall apart at anytime. So yes we’re further along than we’ve been before but until we get the check, no celebration around here. Say a prayer that everything goes well. The cute young couple and their 3 boys are going back again today with the wife’s dad who flew in from Virginia last night. Apparently he also is the lender as he owns a mortgage company. They all go over to the house at 1 pm. Uncle Tommy, you should go over this morning and water any cracks in the back yard from it being so dry so they don’t freak out!
Today we have our last soccer game up here. Jag has one in Denver on Monday and then its nordic training, assuming I can get him signed up. Lots going on as I need to also get everything moved out of the house within like 30 days so we’re told.
Next up Lori wants to go for a family hike. She’s had a headache (super) for about a week. Hopefully we can kick that today. It’s 6 am now and there’s only two of us up and one of us walks on 4 legs. Guess I’ll run as the kitchens a mess. Keep your fingers crossed, have a good weekend, God Bless.
