That’s about what we had, we lost count after a while but ran out of $50 worth of candy within a couple hours of dusk. The kids friends came down from the mountains and we (Lori and I and their parents) sat out front by a fire I built in the fire pit until we ran out of candy. Lori dressed up as a baseball player in Jag’s uniform and I threw on a cowboy hat and voila, I was an instant cowboy! Everyone told me how good I looked!
The kids looked really great and with Ty’s friend Scott who also came over, there were 5 of them working the streets. At one point they called Mom to come get them and drive them over to another neighborhood. I don’t know how much candy they all raked in but it’s a lot. Most of the kids who came to our house were really young and as I said, we’d never had so many. The neighborhood sure has changed. It’s like now we’re the old people, time to move!
Today we turn the clocks back for daylight savings time and Ty has his first basketball game at 7pm. We need to take down all the Halloween decorations and put up the Christmas lights. It’s all downhill from here. Soon the year will be over.
That’s about it, time to go, let’s hear about your night! God Bless.
