It’s here, and it’s wet, I already used the boys Nerf sword to knock the snow off the trees when I was getting the morning paper. We all slept in as I didn’t roll out of bed until about 6:10. Oh well, we must have needed the sleep.
Here’s a comment from Annette,
Annette says:
Glad the kids did well, hope the Mrs. finds something that helps. I feel sorry for the boys when they grow up and have family. They are going to look back at this generation and wonder how we let this happen.
Thanks, so far, the neck and head are the same. I agree with her that history will not be kind to this generation. I really think it’s a turning point in our Country and not a good one. Most people still want to ignore the things happening around them thinking “if it doesn’t affect me, it’s not really happening”. Well, I’ll stop now but as they say, pull your head out and wake the f_-k up! Enough said. How’s that first thing in the morning!
Both boys have spelling tests today. Ty’s words are really hard as he’s in the advanced group these days just like his brother. He has words like “equivilent” and “foreword” both of which I got wrong. After that it’s the weekend. I think we’ll win the lottery or something this weekend, how bout that!
Jag is now wearing adult jeans, size 27-32. I think that’s the same waist size as Mom, wow. Ty too is getting taller, won’t be long until they both pass her.
My buddy Matt is being sent back to Georgia now that the gov is re-opened. He’ll be gone for a few months including Christmas unless he wants to pay his own way back home which he says is too expensive. He says they have new classes coming in every week as all new gov agencies train down there. I think he and his girlfriend might come over tonight as he leaves Sunday. Too bad he’ll miss hunting season.
The misses MRI was quick, I dropped her off and headed over to a store for 10 minutes and by the time I made it back, she was walking out.
Guess I’ll run now as it’s 6:45. Hope everyone is well. I hear Grandpa Bob fell again. We hope he’s doing ok. We’d all jump on a plane if we could but right now between work, bills and doctor appointments, we’re tied up for the next month or so. The misses last doc appt that we have scheduled is November 12 back in Vail. I think she has 3 or 4 tests and stuff sprinkled in between now and then. We have to get her fixed, once and for all as she’s too young to have chronic pain every single day. I am determined to get her well, no matter what!
So take care and God Bless. When life gets you down, get up! There’s a saying that is “cowboy up” meaning get tough, take charge and that sort of thing. We all have challenges and crosses to bear and you can either face them head on or run from them. Personally I think your much better off doing the former although believe me I know (and so does the misses) that sometimes you just get down. But the trick is, when you do, to get back up!
So let’s all Cowboy Up and have a great day!
