In case you missed it, we forgot to post yesterday. This had nothing to do with “losing interest”, we just forgot. We did post a sentence last night saying we forgot!
Anyhow, here’s some comments, (we hoped that some of you would comment), from the day before.

Tom says:
We can talk holidays, what are the kids going to be for halloween, whatcha all want for Christmas?

Eleanor Tafoya says:
In regards to the smoking dog,you made our day,Bob and I had a good laugh.our life is right now pretty boring,we enjoy your blogs it keeps us informed how everyone is doing, you all have a interesting life we enjoy. Yesterday I took Bob to the store he felt good but when he got home he sat in his chair and fell to sleep while I fixed lunch.Bob  looks like a ex-fighter,two black eyes and a bad cut on his forehead.this all for now have a good day and god bless.
So, first, mostly I write about the crappy gov as it’s, well crappy and it helps me vent. Whether you know it or not, it does affect your daily life and there are things you should be doing to take care of your family. I’ll leave it at that but I like it. Feel lucky as it could be worse!
Next up, Uncle T is spot on, we’re late for Halloween! We asked the kids yesterday what they want to be as we know it’ll be a rush. Christmas too is coming fast. I have no idea what they want or what we want. Personally I just want the misses neck to be better.
Last, sorry to hear about Grandpa Bob, did he fall again? We hope he and Eleanor are doing well.
Yesterday I was all over the place, meaning all over Denver and Boulder. Meanwhile the misses was at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce luncheon or something like that with Dr. Rodgers who was receiving an award. Before that she had a conference call with the chemist in New York regarding the skin care project. After that she was off to the office and didn’t make it home until 7pm. Ah the life of a female executive. I know you all have no idea what she does but she is the glue that has been keeping this project and frankly, practice, together.
Luckily I threw a pork roast into the crock pot so we had some dinner when she arrived home. I had a sales meeting at 4:30 pm across town at the distributor so I took the boys with me. I gave them the option of sitting outside or coming into the meeting and they chose the later. So I started off the meeting introducing the boys to my 20 some sale team saying “this is Ty and he wants a horse, and this is Jagger and he wants to go to Harvard, so let’s get to work!” Everyone cheered and were excited to meet them and promised they’d work even harder to help the boys get what they want. I know most of the team pretty well and they all like me (who doesn’t!) as I’m pretty straight forward, super helpful (I make most of them a lot of money each month by selling wine direct to their accounts that they get paid on) and can talk to them directly, good or bad. So everyone really enjoyed me playing what I call the “kid card” to get them to do more sales. The boys have known some of the guys like Sal in Aspen for almost 10 years. Anyhow 10 minutes later we finished up to a roaring applause and hit the road for home.
So that’s it for yesterday. Today our water gets shut off at 8am for the day as they hopefully finish up installing the new water main so we need to take our showers early. It’s raining and cold outside, I think summer is officially gone but hope Fall returns for at least a few weeks.
There ya go, take care and God Bless.
Why are you writing about the crappy government and economy?…you should go back to writing about the kids and your family like you did when you first started the Blog (A year of Change)! Otherwise, take a break for a month and come back to it when you accumulate some stories:) Just a thought and strictly one opinion but I know what you mean about getting sick of thinking of things to say every day! Let The Oldest write the Blog on the weekends:) I enjoy it but I can tell you are losing interest in coming up with new material….sorry none of us are exciting to contribute much more.
