49 years ago today after a very long labour one of the “Best Moms” in the world made a most difficult  desicion to give me to another of the “Best Moms” and “Best Dad” in the world.  So thank you all for making my life so precious and wonderful.
As birthdays go…I had some pretty fantastic parties and lucky for me my sweet husband has taken up the cause to make my day special.
Here are comments from yesterday:

I’m glad Auntie Kristin is coming out for your birthday, nothing better than a girlfriend to share a birthday. I’m sure it will be good for Kristin too. I don’t know how you get everything done. Your birthday card will be late as usual. I don’t know where time goes. Doug is not blonde so you don’t need to worry. Hope his knee feels better. I had a tooth pulled yesterday and I’m still a little loopy on drugs.
I’m sorry you had a tooth pulled…that cannot be fun.  Just getting a crown is awful. I can’t imagine having a tooth pulled. Ouch!
Thank you both for the birthday wishes. Â Kristin got here at about 11:00p.m. and we stayed up chatting until 1:00a.m. I haven’t been up that late since the new Millennium, Â January 1st, 2000. Â She showed me some of the pictures of her home on the hill in Pacific Palisades. Â She is doing a major remodel and the home is phenomenal! Â The views are 180 degrees(if not more) of ocean views. Â In the master suite she has not only a fabulous master bath, but a gorgeous deck complete with a beautiful soaking tub, shower and private deck. Â I cannot wait to go visit!
Kristin and I are leaving for Woodhouse Day Spa in about 45 minutes…I have bacon in the oven for the boys(Nic stayed over with Ty)and the Mr. went to the gym.
By the way…the Mr has to undergo knee surgery a week from Tuesday:-( What a bummer.  He’ll be on crutches for a week or two after the surgery.  He’ll need some TLC…especially from me, since he is the one always offering up the support for me.
Funny bit of information a friend sent to me this morning as a birthday wish…May 4th is National Star Wars Day…lucky me…”May the Fourth be with me!”
I smell the bacon on the verge of becoming just a little too crispy…
Have a great day and
God Bless
