Got er done

Davy was out the door by 6:30 and had his buck by 8am. He was back here by 9. One shot at 405 yards. Around 9:30 we decided to head up the highway 30 minutes to Sheridan Wyoming. We parked on Main Street and walked the town shopping and looking around. The highlight of the trip was King Saddlery and Rope. They’ve been around forever and have a museum in the back with hundreds of saddles and old west memorabilia from historical figures long gone that you only hear about in history books or the movies. There must have been over 5000 artifacts there! Super cool place.

After lunch we made it back around 2:30 and the four of us just hung out telling stories and laughing and smoking a cigar or two, for the rest of the afternoon. This morning at 9 we’ll pick up our meat and head for home. We saw a bumper sticker today we wanted to buy but they didn’t have any for sale. It said Colorado is Wyoming’s Mexico! How funny is that? It’s funny cause it’s true! Different life up here, because they’re still free! A lot less regulation and restrictions on your freedom.

We should be home around 4. We’re already planning what we want to do next year. It’s such a good thing for the four of us. Kind of like a soul-searching guy movie. I’d post hunting pics but don’t want the Peta people upset if anyone sees it on the internet, ha. What a World.

More to come, but we had a blast, with a lot of guy bonding time, which is important to be a good man. It centers you and reground’s you as a person and a man. That might sound weird but it’s true. Hope everyone is well, have a great Wednesday and it’s also John Lennon and my good friend Harry’s birthday today! God Bless.
