Jag and Ava rolled in sometime late last night. We weren’t up but it had to be midnight or so. Ty made it home at 8 and headed to Madi’s to spend the night. He works this morning and we’ll see him after the gym. Think we’ll have Easter dinner tonight as Ty works tomorrow and Jag and Ava will need to get home to get ready for school on Monday.
I had a good breakfast in Grand Junction with a candidate for Colorado’s 3rd District. This is crazy Lauren Bobert’s old district. Stephen is a 39 year old veteran who was a democrat before he woke up and realized the party is no longer the party of John Kennedy. He’s Latino and Italian and been involved in the community in Pueblo for years and sits on the State school board and other community boards. The Dems are scared of him as they should be. Aspen Adam, a lawyer from back east, who is trying to buy the seat, is his main competitor. There were four of us at breakfast who he drove down to meet with. Seems like our best shot so we’ll be supporting him.
After a quick stop at the farm to pick up some fresh asparagus, (it comes up first in the Spring), I was off. I drove back through constant rain until I made it to Glenwood. Then I took a right and headed up to Basalt to go to Whole Foods. After grocery shopping I headed home. Once home, Lori and I went to Costco and then Mitch and Kellie’s for eggs and bread. Then it was home for the night until Ty arrived.
This morning we’re working out and then Lori and Addy are having coffee. The kids are sleeping and probably will be when we get back around 10.
Have a great weekend and God Bless.
