We had some snow in the morning and maybe a few more inches during the day, but by mid-afternoon, it pretty much stopped. I stayed ahead of it with my shoveling, so this morning, we’re good to go. I can see the sun peeking through the clouds out the back window and a little blue sky way up high. I think, according to the forecast, the worst of it is over. Denver looks snowy and cold though. Lots of things are closed down there, and they’re showing some schools even closed tomorrow.
Roads in the high country look bad on tv, but that must be on the east side of the divide. Not sure how Vail is. Marty said it was coming down all day yesterday in Frisco. Oh well, it is winter. A warmup is coming this weekend. It’s 27 degrees up here and 5 below zero in Denver. That’s been the way it is for the past 3 or 4 days. They say Denver is in a polar vortex.
The highlight of the day yesterday, was the beloved Green Bay Packers crushing the Dallas Cowboys! I just love seeing Dallas lose and to have them lose the way they did, was great. I called the win a few days before the game too! We have two games today. I’ll watch some of the Bills and Steelers but probably skip the night game. Can’t believe it, but I’m kind of footballed out.
I think we’ll go to the gym. No conference call this morning. It is MLK Day. That’s not why, I just don’t need a call today.
Have a great day, we’re halfway through January! God Bless.
