What a day

It started Sunday night late, after the game. I had laid down for a bit and after I got up to get a drink of water, I almost fell into the wall. I was so dizzy I made a U-turn and headed right back to bed. Once there, I was dizzy too. Not knowing what was going on I went to sleep thinking I just got out of bed too fast. The next morning, yesterday, I was still dizzy but not as bad as the night before. I slept on and off until 11 am. I researched what was going on while Lori made me a doctor appointment at 4:30. I ruled out covid pretty quick and with Lori’s help, decided I had an inner ear infection. My left ear had been aching for a week. Once at the doctor we confirmed her diagnosis, an inner ear infection known as labyrinthitis. A bunch of fluid or puss had gathered behind my ear drum surrounding the labyrinth which are a series of tubes in your ear. Thankfully after seeing the doctor, he gave me some drops and antibiotics and told me it should be gone in 2 or 3 days. I’m better this morning than yesterday but still not quite 100%. Yesterday I couldn’t or wouldn’t even drive as I was feeling that woozy. How weird it was. They didn’t give me a covid test as like I said, we ruled that out early on. The unknown is scary and for a few hours I wasn’t sure what was going on. Thank God it wasn’t anything really serious.

Lori is at work today and I’m driving down to Grand Junction. We’ll both leave in an hour. Ty went to Frisco last night and hit some snow coming home. Jag is working away and will head back to Boulder in a few weeks. No snow up here, just cool temps with a warm up on the way. Time to get in the shower and have Lori put some of my cipro ear drops in my ear.

Take care, be well and God Bless.
