A Decade

Well today is the 10 year anniversary of the blog. If I ever missed a post, I’m pretty sure I went back and added it in. Might have happened once or twice but all in all there should be about 3,650 posts. Next week we’ll start printing the book. Super glad I did it for the boys. How fun to someday look back and read something from everyday of your life growing up. Wish I had it from when I was a kid. What a journey. Hoping for 10 more years, tomorrow starts Chapter Two.

Yesterday we managed to get Lori to work ok and then around 5 I was picking her up for the drive to Denver. Turns out ski traffic turned a 45 minute drive into a 2 hour plus drive so we didn’t end up going. Good thing as we were really tired. When we made it home at 6:30 the boys, Ty, Sonny and Jack, had gone to Wendy’s for a burger. When they came back Sonny was parking on the street as earlier I asked Ty to do so thinking we’d be coming back from Denver late and I wanted to get in the garage. What I didn’t expect was for Sonny to drive straight into the ditch next to the road. He didn’t realize how much snow we have and thought he was just pulling on to the side of the road. But no, right into the ditch they went. I went out but it was dark and decided to tackle it this morning.

Today at 4 we’re going to Marty and Melanie’s for an early New Year’s Eve dinner. We never make it to midnight anymore so we’ll probably get home around 9 or 10. Jag was out until about 1:30 am as Lori unlocked the door for him which woke me up. I think we’ll cook a prime rib today so we have sandwiches for tomorrow.

They’re rolling out the vaccine to more people starting today. We’re thinking we’ll watch for a little bit. Don’t think I can get it anytime soon anyhow. Hope it’s safe but it’s too early to tell. Don’t think there’s any reason for kids to get it as they haven’t even started testing on anyone under 18. Some appear better than others. Of course on the political front, Biden is now blaming Trump for a slow roll out. Are you kidding me? A few months ago Biden and Harris said they wouldn’t even take it. Now with Trump getting one made in record time in the history of vaccine’s, Biden’s blaming him for people not getting injected fast enough. To be clear, The administration has sent it to every State, it’s up to the State’s as to how they distribute it. Has nothing to do with Trump but don’t let that stop Biden and the Dems from going after him, good God.

Headed to the gym this morning. Part of our New Year’s resolution is to get in better shape. It’s a constant battle. Time to go, Happy New Year to all, be safe and God Bless.
