After a long day and flight I made it home about 10:30. My day was fine and so was the flight but when we landed in Denver there was a lightening stop due to, lightening. This meant we sat on the plane for a bit as they wouldn’t let the ground crews operate the sky bridges to get us off the plane. After about 15 minutes they finally let us off the plane and I headed for my car. I stopped in Vail and picked Ty up at grandma and Lori’s hotel. Jag was down at Emma’s with a bunch of friends.
Today I’ll pick up Dixie and take her down to Denver where she’ll be until Saturday morning when she and Lori fly home. She’s had a great trip from what I know hanging out with the boys a bunch. I’m tired and I know Lori is too. We still have a lot of work to do with Ty having mountain biking today and then training Saturday and a race Sunday. He did come in 8th yesterday in the Beaver Creek Bash which is a huge accomplishment! We’re so proud of him. Jag has soccer both days with a scrimmage Saturday. As I said Lori and Dixie go to Sacramento Saturday and I think she’s flying home Sunday now instead of Monday but she’ll have to change her flight. Hope she can as Monday I’m busy too. Then next Friday I’m off hunting. So no rest coming up in the near future.
The dogs were happy I came home and are hanging out now. I’m going to head to the gym before I get Dixie around 10 for one more drive to Denver, ugh. That’s about it, time to go. Hope all is well, take care, be safe and God Bless.
