Hump Day

It’s the middle of the week and both boys are doing well. Yesterday after school Jag asked if we could drop a couple girls at MFC (Minturn Fitness Club). Of course I said sure. When I picked him up he had two good looking girls from his class that are here from Spain for a year. They’re both ski racers and were going to dry land training at the gym. They were nice girls from the north of Spain and as I said, cute. We dropped them and then it was back to school to pick up Ty. Then I dropped him at the 4 Seasons for  haircut and then went to pick up Harley from daycare. Then it was back to pick up Ty, take him home and then back in to town to pick up Lori from work. All in all I was driving from about 3 until 6, ugh.

Today Lori has the day off. We’ll probably clean around here. Jag had a lot of homework as he has three AP (Advanced Placement) classes. Ty too had a lot of work. I need to clean out our ski locker today as we’re moving lockers to one closer to the gondola. This means less walking with our skis, whoo hoo. It was 29 degrees last night in Fairplay and in the 30’s here so it won’t be long until the snow comes. The Farmers Almanac is forecasting a bone chilling winter, and they’re usually right. Mom introduced me to this many many moons ago.

This weekend I’m going hunting and then the next two weekends we have Bronco football games and then the weekend after that we’re in Telluride staying at friends of Lori’s home for a couple nights. I’m sure it’ll be nice as they own Corona Beer, ha. So we’re booked right now until at least September 29th, wow. I think Tommy said Tasha is coming to take her Mom back to Georgia with her and they’re all having dinner on the 4th but I’ll be high up in the mountains chasing elk. If by chance I wrap up early, I’ll head down but usually I take the whole 5 days which would put me home on the 5th or 6th. We’re glad Shelly is going to be close to Tash and the girls. That’s the way it should be.

Time to go, have a great day and GB.
