This morning Ty is headed to Denver with Sonny to go to Waterworld. He was going to go to basketball but the games didn’t start until 2 or 3 and then went until 8 or so which no one wanted to do. Lori was going to get her hair done but now is going next Saturday. We were in Aspen yesterday and home by 4 or so. I now have Prada and a few other places pouring wine at Aspen Food and Wine. Should be a fun time.
I reinjured my knee somehow by doing too much at the gym. I’m really pissed off at myself.
Our boys are fashion experts. Not sure how they know what they know but they seem to know every trend and brand out there. We were having lunch yesterday and Jag said, “oh look, she has a Goyard”. Now I’m pretty up to date but had no idea what he was talking about. Turns out Maison Goyard is one of the oldest and most exclusive fashion brands from Paris founded in 1853. They also are up to speed on everything from Gucci to Off White to MCM and other brands most of us don’t know. Funny that kids are so into fashion these days. And it’s not just our boys, most all kids know this stuff. Not sure how this all happened, I think it started with Kayne West and the Yeezy brand. Social media has to be a big part of it too. Oh well, I told Ty if he wants anything from Gucci, which he covets badly, he’d better get a good education and a good job as no way we’re buying anything like that, not even for ourselves much less a kid!
Harley is all over everything this morning. She just ran downstairs to Jagger so he’ll be getting up soon, we hope. It’s cooler up here but still nice. Time to get moving and get another cup of coffee so I can take Ty to Sonny’s. I think we’ll head down to the storage unit today and then to Costco and then try to get some more done around the house.
