We didn’t sleep much, apparently I was coughing with my cold all night and Lori’s head was hurting. We’re quite the pair. I have to rush down to the bank this morning as after getting a letter and then sitting on the phone with the I R S yesterday for over 2 hours, we need to send them another check we didn’t know about. We have (or had) a little bit of savings for Christmas and my birthday but now the govt will get it. This also means it looks like we’ll just be staying here for Christmas and my birthday instead of doing anything special, so no Hawaii, bummer. Â So it was quite a day, first finding out we needed to send all the money we had saved, and then some to the govt, my cold turned into a full blown episode, maybe the flu, Lori’s head was pounding all day long and then at the end of the day, I looked down and had a hole on the big toe of my favorite pair of socks. So the way I look at it, today has to be better, right. Glass half full right? What a crap day. Oh oh, Lori’s now blowing her nose, hope she doesn’t get my cold.
Maybe this afternoon we’ll go cut our tree as we’re supposed to get hammered the next 4 days with snow. I’m supposed to be in Aspen Tuesday and then have an event here in Vail on Wednesday. Then on Friday we’re off to Vegas until Sunday.
