Here we go, Christmas will be here soon now that Halloween is out of the way, but first let’s talk about last night. We started out all going to Dr C’s which turned out to be a rocking party with everyone is costume but first left and dropped the boys in another neighborhood. 30 minutes later we had a call from them saying nobody was trick or treating so we went to pick them up and headed to a different neighborhood. Well this was THE neighborhood for Halloween. Apparently people had been decorating for over a month. You can click on a picture to enlarge it, the pumpkin in a black light box carved like the Earth is amazing!
Anyhow we didn’t make it back to the Doc’s party as it was an adult party even though they said the kids could come. Jag received a text from a friend so we dropped him at some giant house for a party and he made it home around 10:45 pm. Lori, Ty and I went home.
Our neighbors were also having a party and I heard the last people leave at 3:30 this morning. This valley went all out for Halloween!
My broken rib is still killing me but nothing you can do for that except wait. The big game is tonight and I’m supposed to leave a bit after noon but Tommy said tickets are going for thousands of dollars! If I could get that, man I’d stay home but I’ve already invited some guys.
We need to clean up around here and put away all the Halloween stuff. We don’t have any Christmas stuff so that’ll have to wait. I think we have about 3 weekends to get everything out of the house in Denver. We’re supposed to go to the big annual school gala/party November 14th but tickets are $300 a piece! We’ve been invited to sit with friends at their table but I think we’re going to skip it as we don’t want to pay $600 plus should be cleaning out the house, plus have a Bronco game the next day. I’m sure we’ll be shunned by the school fundraising people but we did arrange for them to get the wine at a deal and donated a trip to Italy! Still they have their hands out for money every time you turn around.
We have some frost here but that’s about it. I think snow is coming on Thursday and I know I’m down Wednesday. Guess I’ll run and get some coffee and start cleaning this mess up. Hope all’s well, God Bless and God Bless the Denver Broncos! Sorry Mom.
