Almost February

Tomorrow’s my Mom’s b-day and then Friday is February 1st! It’s almost Spring!

Yesterday I was everywhere and so was the misses. She had quite a successful day as an art consultant. She’s been working with a gallery and a medical office redecorating their entire office and was in charge or choosing the art and staging it for the client. Turns out she made a good bit of money doing so, (in the 4 figures) and has formed a new partnership with the gallery who says, and I quote, “you have quite an eye for this”. Today she’ll switch hats as she trains in her new proposed role as office manager and director of a natural skin care line for one of the top plastic surgeons in the country. Things are really looking up for her and all the hard work she’s been putting in is starting to pay off. On top of this, she’s done it all with a headache! Our girls quite special but then again, we already knew that. Just don’t tell her, we don’t want it going to her head! I sure am proud of her.

Meanwhile I was in Boulder once and Frederick twice handling a few transactions that were time sensitive. The oldest guy had a queazy belly so we kept him home meaning he had to go with me in the afternoon. Our friends picked up the youngest from school and the oldest and I grabbed him around 3:30. Mom made it home a bit after 4 so we all settled in around 4:30 for some leftovers for dinner.

The oldest has inter-murals today so we need to get him up at 6 which is a few minutes from now. The kids have early release today at noon (seems like they’re off every week for something) and the misses will be downtown at 2 so we have a busy busy day.

We’re plugging along getting through each day with all our bills but have lots and lots of good things going like those above. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and God willing, we’ll get there.

Time to run, hope all’s well, take care and God Bless.
