Good morning. The Mr. is at the gym, the babes are sleeping and the big dog is howling for his pack (us). He doesn’t want to leave his frozen domain for the warm inside.
I took the boys to Jump Street, a trampoline place filled with at least 200 of their closest friends. Ugg! Â We were there for 2 hours…they jumped, played dodge ball and had a few “goes” on the mechanical bull. Â They had a blast playing dodgeball…not so fun for mom to watch. The mechanical bull riding was fun to watch, as was the flips they did on the trampoline. Â Our friends want to go today…we’ll see.
Our friends from Vail were down for an appt. and stopped by for a glass of wine. Â Rik’s mom is visiting from New Jersey and wanted to see the boys and us. Â The last time she saw them the kiddos were 2 and 4. Â She was really surprised at how grown up they are. Â They were playing upstairs and it sounded like there may have been 15 to 20 kids stomping around. Â I am going to have to invest in a couple of area rugs…hardwood floors just echo every step or “thump” and the sound just resonates through our house. Â Rugs will have to go on the to do list….maybe a trip to Ikea is in store for our family this weekend.
Here is the Mr. to finish up….
Ok, first off, no way we’re going to Ikea on a weekend, we made that mistake once, never again. It’ll be 40 degrees or so today and I have some work to finish up before the weekend, then more on Monday and Tuesday before leaving for Italy next Wednesday.
The misses head is killing her today after a so so day yesterday. Sooner or later, we hope and pray, this has to stop.
I haven’t said much about the economy for a bit but this administration doesn’t have a clue! They just pushed through a Fiscal Cliff package that adds $ 4 TRILLION dollars to the deficit and doesn’t cut spending by a single penny. Are you kidding me? They think they can just print and print money as they want with no consequences. Many noted economists say the Big O is doing this so that the economy will crash or “reset” giving him the power to install anything he wants through Executive Order. I’m telling you, get ready as shit’s coming down. Food prices will go higher, inflation will hit, socialism is on the way and those not ready are going to be in trouble. This isn’t me talking but Nobel Prize winning economists to 4 Star Generals (yes that are democrats) to respected retired congressmen and senators like Alan Simpson from Wyoming. I tend to listen to the retired guys more as they have no agenda, or in other words, are not in perpetual campaign mode like everyone currently in Congress.
How about Al Gore yesterday selling Current TV to Al Jezerra (the terrorists newspaper promoting jihad and Islam worldwide) and putting $100 Million dollars in his own pocket. Thankfully Time Warner (the network that broadcasts Current TV) immediately dropped them saying they will not broadcast them. How hypocritical of a former Vice President to line his own pockets to promote the agenda of America’s number one enemy. Nice, real nice.
If you don’t get any of this by now, you probably never will but we’re running out of time. We cannot continue to spend and spend money we do not have! Get ready to pay the bill as it’s you and I that will be doing so.
